My Interests

My main research interst lies in the analysis of data to reveal real-word patterns.

Data -- I have been worked with sewage flow monitoring data, traffic flow data, as well as Twitter natural language data.

Analysis -- The machine learning algorithms that I am using are probablistic graphical models like Latent Dirichlet Allocation, or discriminative models like Support Vector Machines, or unsupervised models like K-means clustering and deep neural network. I also use Hadoop to perform high-performance large-scale machine learning tasks.

Real-word patterns -- The real-world applications are the inflow and infiltration of sewage network, traffic network's fluctuation and stabilization after disruption, and traffic incidents.
