Dr. Daryn Lee

Daryn Lee earned a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. She received her BS in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley in 2019. She previously worked on solar desalination prototyping at UC Berkeley's Mi Lab and spent time at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory developing datasets for building-energy simulation tools.
Her research at MAC focused on transport accessibility and equity, transport and behavioral economics, and the adoption and impacts of autonomous vehicles. She is now a data scientist at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA).
