Jiachao Liu earned his PhD in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He received his BS in Transportation Engineering from Dalian University of Technology and his MS in Transportation Engineering from Southeast University. During his master's study, he worked on traffic signal control and helped develop control platforms for Kunshan City, China.
Research interests
Dynamic network modeling, machine learning, control strategies for urban road networks, and connected and automated vehicles.
