Jiachen Ye is a PhD student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, joining MAC in August 2025. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from Tsinghua University.
His research applies machine learning to transportation challenges, specifically dynamic traffic network modeling and forecasting. He is interested in leveraging large-scale multimodal data for intelligent transportation systems.
