
Matt Battifarano earned a PhD in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. Before that, he spent three years as a data scientist at Bridj, a smart urban transportation startup, where he built models of transit demand and methods to optimize vehicle routes to meet that demand. He received his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Chicago in 2012.
He is now a software engineer at Aurora.
