Dr. Pinchao Zhang

Dr. Pinchao Zhang earned his PhD in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, with research interests in traffic flow theory and transportation economics. He received Bachelor's degrees from the Department of Civil Engineering and the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University in 2010.

He is now a software engineer at Google.

Research interests

Traffic modeling and simulation, traffic economics, and applications of machine learning and statistical methods in traffic analysis.
