Dr. Qiling Zou
Systems Scientist
Dr. Qiling Zou is a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. Before joining MAC, he earned his PhD in Structural Engineering from Colorado State University in 2020, with a focus on infrastructure resilience and human mobility under hazards.
He received his MS in Civil Engineering from Hunan University in 2016 (work on dynamic vehicle–bridge interaction) and his BS in Civil Engineering from Hunan University in 2013.
Research interests
Dynamic network modeling, infrastructure resilience, decision-making for infrastructure systems, human evacuation, and structural dynamics.
