
Dr. Rick Grahn earned his PhD in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He previously worked as a structural engineer with a Professional Engineer certification from California, and completed a year of AmeriCorps service focused on affordable housing in Oakland, CA.
He holds a BS in Civil Engineering (2009) and an MS in Structural Engineering (2011), both from the University of New Mexico.
He is now a transportation engineer at Noblis.
Research interests
Transportation impacts from technology change and adoption, sustainable transportation systems, and optimization.
