My name is Xidong Pi, and you can also call me Alan. I am a PhD student in Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. My research interests lie in the optimization and control of infrastructure systems, especially transportation systems. I also have ample research and project experience in data mining/machine learning of mobility data.

I received my Master’s degree in Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Spring 2015. And I received my Bachelor’s degrees in School of Environment (SOE) and School of Economics and Management (SEM) at Tsinghua University in 2010.
